How Edunimity Works

A platform that handles the heavy lifting so you can spend more time with students. Pilot schools will help us refine each step.

1

Data Collection

Automatically sync existing data from your SIS—grades, attendance, behavior incidents—plus optional wellness check-ins to capture student sentiment. Everything in one central dashboard.

2

Context Gathering

Teachers can easily share observations and concerns when they notice behavioral changes. Simple, optional input that takes under 30 seconds.

3

AI Analyzes Patterns

Our system detects concerning patterns across check-ins, grades, and attendance—like withdrawal, anxiety, or disengagement—to prioritize who needs support.

4

You Intervene Early

Get actionable alerts with full context, organize your caseload, schedule check-ins, and track student progress over time—all from one hub.

Why Early Intervention Matters

Built with school counselors, for school counselors

The Research Is Clear

According to research from the National Association of School Psychologists, early identification and intervention for mental health concerns:

Reduces the need for intensive crisis interventions by 40-60%

Improves academic outcomes and school engagement

Prevents escalation of behavioral and emotional issues

Increases students' help-seeking behavior

But here's the problem:

With counselor-to-student ratios averaging 1:400+ nationally (far above the recommended 1:250), most students don't have consistent access to a trusted adult who can spot early warning signs. By the time a struggling student reaches a counselor's radar, the issue has often escalated into a crisis requiring intensive intervention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Edunimity

Is student data secure and FERPA compliant?+

Edunimity operates under your district's data processing agreement (DPA), which governs how student data is handled and binds us to FERPA-equivalent protections. Your district retains full ownership of all student data—we act solely as a data processor on your behalf. We do not sell or share data with third parties, and all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Upon contract termination, your data is returned to you and deleted from our systems.

What stage is the product in?+

Edunimity is in active development with input from school counselors. Integration with your district typically takes about one month. We're seeking 3-5 pilot schools to co-build the platform during Spring 2026. This means you'll get early access, help shape features based on your real workflows, and receive discounted pricing during the pilot period. You should expect iteration as we refine based on your feedback. This is a true partnership where we build something valuable together.

What do pilot schools commit to?+

We're looking for collaborative partners, not passive users. Pilot schools will: (1) Provide access to 1-2 school counselors for regular feedback sessions (30-60 minutes biweekly), (2) Test features with real student scenarios, (3) Share candid feedback about what works and what doesn't, and (4) Help us understand your existing workflows. In return, you'll get discounted pricing during the pilot period, direct input on features, priority access to new capabilities, and preferential pricing when we launch.

How much time do teachers need to spend on this?+

Very minimal. Teacher input is optional but helpful. When they do want to share observations, it takes under 30 seconds. The system primarily relies on existing data from your SIS, so teacher participation is completely flexible based on your school's preferences.

Will Edunimity integrate with our existing SIS (Student Information System)?+

Yes—we're building integrations with popular SIS platforms (PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, etc.) to automatically sync grades, attendance, and demographic data. If your district uses a specific system, we'll prioritize that integration during the pilot. Your feedback directly shapes our roadmap, and we'll work closely with your IT team to ensure seamless data flow.

What happens to our data if we decide to cancel?+

You own your data, period. If you cancel, we provide a complete export of all your student records, reports, and historical data in standard formats (CSV, PDF). We then securely delete all your data from our servers within 30 days. There's no lock-in, and you'll never lose access to your records.
